This reissue by Wishan Books has been compiled from the original editions and reflects the content, with some minor changes, of the second edition of WITCH, published in December 1964.

This book's orignal publication was inflammatory for a number of reasons but contains one of the few personal accounts of Gerald Gardner as a Witch.

 

It also contains an outline of the Gardnerian Book of Shadows material as it was in 1958/59 and as such, is important with regard to the history and subsequent development of Gardnerian Witchcraft.
